This is step four in Obagi’s regimen.This exfoliating lotion contains alpha hydroxy acids in a unique base to smooth and tone rough or damaged skin.

Apply a thin layer to the skin once a day, or as directed by a physician.

This rating is not specifically for Nu Derm Exfoderm Forte; it is for the entire Obagi Nu Derm line (step 1 gel foam cleanser, step 2 toner, step 3 clear, step 4 exfoderm forte, step 5 blender used with retin A or similar then step 6 sunscreen. I began using this system approx 5 years ago for melasma. Nothing I tried got rid of the melasma. A friend recommended this and within a few weeks, no more melasma!
Pros: It worked!
Cons: Step 3 - 5 bottles are a little hard for arthritic hands to squeeze in the morning. Also, it is difficult to tell how much product is left in the bottle, I judge it by the weight.

Excellent product! I could tell a difference in my skin after the 2nd day.
I have come back to the Obagi system after a five year absence...mostly because I thought the line was too expensive. Wrong! This product and the others in this system are worth every penny because they work!
Pros: Gives my skin a tighter, smoother feel. Quickly helped correct some over-40 blemish issues I had.

I have used the Obagi 6-step program for six years and it is THE BEST. Am 57 years old and look 40--no exaggeration! My skin has never looked better.
Pros: The 6 steps are easy to follow and once you get used to the routine, it's like clock work!

I have used Obagi products off and on for 10 years. I find the exfoderm forte the only product that can exfoliate my skin effectively. I recieve conpliments on how smooth my skin looks. I will always use this product and feel no need to switch.

Found this product at a Medical Spa, and have loved the results! My dry, sensitive skin has had no problem with this product. My moisturizer seems to be absorbed better, with the use of this before applying moisture/spf.
Pros: Little goes a long way...last many, many months.
Cons: NONE!

I use this product every morning after a Vit-C serum by Obaji. It is a nice, easy, daily exfoliating product that is not at all harsh. It keeps my skin clear and soft, and is a staple in my skin care regimen that I cannot do without!
Pros: Fast and easy to use. Works on my sensitive skin. Doesn't make my skin red. My skin has become softer and clearer
Cons: I prefer to simplify my regimen and it's just one more layer on my skin. But it's worth it.

I have used the full Obagi system including Forte for over 5 years now and have never had such a dramatic improvement to my skin tone and texture
Pros: My skin looks pore-less, tight - it glows
Cons: I supplement the line with a moisturizer from another line to reduce dryness.
